Just a reminder that Bike Tech will be closed to celebrate the 4th of July. We'll keep our regular hours on Friday of 10-8 and Sunday of noon to 4.

July Is Here, Finally

 

July is finally here and with it comes hot weather, sweet corn, and the world's largest and longest organized group ride, RAGBRAI. It's time to get off the couch and start to get some training miles underneath your belt.

 

Now is the time to get your bike's annual tune-up. Having a properly functioning bike will make your next ride easier, smoother, and more enjoyable.

 

Running a little behind? Did you wait too long to get your bike in and beat the summer rush? We are now offering same day and next day annual tune-ups for an additional fee. Perfect if you're running behind or need super fast, high quality service. Call for details.

 

We also do appointments! Appointments require a $5 deposit and need to be made in person.

 

Need something small... we do same day or while you wait repair on most quick fixes.

 

Can't wait for July? Sturgis Falls is quickly approaching. And don't forget the Cedar Trails Festival in early August.

 

 

 

Share The Road

 

May was an excellent month for biking. Perfect weather for biking to work and Bike To Work Month. Also a great opportunity to celebrate our winning of Bronze level status from the League of American Bicyclists.

 

You may have noticed some of the new road markings and signage around town. This is part of the Cedar Falls Bike Plan's pilot program. Currently you'll be able to see these markings on Clay Street and Seerley.

 

 

 

 

 

Now is a great chance for cyclists and commuters to talk with their co-workers, friends, and family about how important it is for all street users to share the road.

 

The more bicycles we can get on the road the faster Share the Road awareness will occur. We'll be a happier and healthier community because of it. Go out and ride!!

We are pleased to announce that Bike Tech has Chariot Trailers now in stock. These trailers are perfect for the parent (or grandparent) that wants to include the kids in the their outdoor lifestyle.
