In some ways your can find your inner McGyver to fit and pack all of your gear, but there are some purpose built tools and gear that will make your adventure much easier.  If you have any questions please stop by the shop, we would LOVE to chat with you about your adventure.

The most difficult question to answer is "What should I bring?"  Each trip and rider has their unique requirements for a pack list, but here is a reccomended list of things needed.  Please use this along with your own custom adjustments to meet the needs of your adventure.

Wondering what to fill your cool new bags with?  Here is a quick list of what we bring, look it over and customize it to your needs.

Wondering what to fill your cool new bags with?  Here is a quick list of what we bring, look it over and customize it to your needs.

Equipment:  bike, helmet, water bottles, spare tube, CO2 inflator/pump, tire levers, small repair kit, camp stove

Food: This can depend on where you are able to resupply along your route, dehydrated meals pack well and are easy to make, granola bars of some sort are great snacks along the ride, other quick calories like gels, gummies, fruit, are great as well.  Just remember you have to haul everything you bring so pack as light as your resupply stops allow.

Camping: tent, ground cloth, sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping pad

Toiletries:  TP/baby wipes, chamois cream, lip balm with sunscreen, sun block, insect repellent, any special medicines.  We are all going to stink, we might not be sure who stinks the most.  So no need to weigh down your bike with deodorants and shower kits.

Clothes: A day’s outfit (shorts, jersey, sox, headband, etc), dress for he weather (day and night)

Misc: cell phone, camera, headlamp/flashlight, pocket knife
