Bike Tech Group Rides
Bike Tech is starting up new, low-key group rides this year.
Why you ask? Our plan is to introduce local riders in the area to the many country highways, gravel roads, and dirt trails. At the same time we want to connect these local riders to others just like them.
The Format...
*Non-competitve, friendly group ride.
*We stop to help with mechanicals/flat tires.
*No riders left behind. All rides will have a sweeper. Regroup at key points.
*Smaller groups may form with riders of similar ability.
*Pace - road biking speeds of 16-24ish MPH (depending on group).
Our Goals...
*Get people in the area excited about road and mountain biking
*Show the numerous road and mountain bike routes and trails
*Promote proper riding technique and etiquette
*Create network of people to ride with of similar ability levels
*Build membership for the IMB
*HAVE FUN
